I really love the look of Williams Sonoma Home. It is clean, classic, current, but not trendy. Their prices tend to be on the higher end, so I was pleasantly surprised when I received their new catalog and saw some beautiful, well priced rugs. I can envision using any of these on a project.
I think these crewel rugs, that were completely embroidered by hand, are absolutely beautiful! For those of you who don’t know, (according to wikipedia) crewel is “a decorative form of surface embroidery using wool and a variety of different embroidery stitches to follow a design outline applied to the fabric”. The 4’X6′ is $295, and 5’X8’ is $595.
This zebra crewel rug is almost sold out. Too bad, because I really love the khaki/ivory combination. The black/ivory combo, also stunning is still available at $250 for a 4’X6′.
These cotton, hand printed rugs are $148 for a 6’X9’.
This one is almost sold out, but they still have the 3’X5’in Paprika for $58, and the 2’X3’ in blue for $28!It’s getting chilly here in Connecticut, but for those of you that live in a warmer climate, this outdoor rug is bold and fun. The 5’3” X 7’X7” is $225.
