Yes, oh boy…I am expecting twins!!! I am now 20 weeks and luckily feeling well (the first 3 months…not so much!) We decided that we want to be surprised, so we are not finding out the sex of the babies, much to my stepson’s dismay. Ben is 10 and really, really wants to know.
We also found a house, and if all goes well we close next week. I am in full planning mode, deciding on a palette for each room. We are going to have the house painted before moving in since I am pregnant and do not want to breathe in the paint fumes. We are using low VOC paint, but still would rather not be there.
For the nursery I am choosing a color that is gender neutral, and decided to go with a pale turquoise, just need to choose the right one. I like the look of pale turquoise mixed with red and white. If 2 girls I can mix in yellow or pink accents, if 2 boys I can mix in navy or orange, and if one of each…well then I have my pick. I found these beautiful inspirational photos to help me plan. The hard part is I need to plan for each scenario, then I will complete the room once the babies are born.

These next 2 do not have the pale blue walls, but still the palette I love.

I’ll share with you as I put the nursery together. Since this is my first time with babies, if anyone has any advice where to shop for great products please share. I have been doing some research, but I am sure there are many adorable places to shop that I do not know about.
